I went to Saint John from 3 year old preschool through 8th grade, 11 whole years!!! It is a wonderful school that fosters an environment of exceptional learning with a center around Christ. They prepared me so well for my future and I ended up getting a full ride scholarship to Purdue. If anyone is looking for a quality school that produces well rounded kids, St. John is the school for you!!
St. John the Evangelist is an outstanding school! We wanted the best Catholic Education for our children and we saw that because of what my nieces were receiving there. I was impressed not only with the core courses but the Catholic Education was extraordinary!! Our children have learned about their faith and truly love it! Our teachers are amazing and our principal is Fantastic!! Ms. Oliver is full of life and amazing ideas! The children love her and respond to her high energy! She has truly made this a "Happy Place" - their last year's theme! Our children are constantly telling us they are most thankful for their excellent education! WOW!!! How many grade school children can see that they are receiving that? Thank you for your love and dedication to our children to all the teachers, aides, and everyone that makes SJE an amazing school to belong!
St John is wonderful. We wanted a Catholic Education for our children and St John is above and beyond. From Preschool to Middle School the teachers and staff are amazing. The Principal Ms. Oliver is full of new ideas and energy and she is truly a blessing. We are so blessed to have St John as an option. I know my children are in a safe environment that is not only teaching them academics but also how to be good people and that is what most public schools are missing.
Priest has problem with girls wearing pants for First Communion. Guessing it confuses him as to which boys to target. Imagine his shock if he found different equipment than he expected!!
When I first toured this school 3 years ago, I had tears of joy. I knew SJE felt like "home" for our 4 children. The experience thus far has exceeded our expectations. Top rated academics - but what's more... our kids are receiving a character-driven education that provides them with a moral compass in this ever changing and complex world. As parents, we feel they are being given the right tools and the right foundation to make their own decisions when confronted with the issues of today's society. SJE's principal is top notch and her leadership is exactly what our school needs. The teachers and staff are caring, nurturing and inspiring. We feel it's worth it for us to invest in our children and to spend the money for this exceptional Catholic education!
