Typically, I only like to leave positive reviews but I've been so frustrated with this place that I have to say something. I went there time and had a decent experience. Nothing great but nothing bad. But my last two experiences have been terrible.
I walked in and no one really greeted my friend and I. Then they kept standing over us while trying to pick a color making us feel rushed where no one else was even in the salon with 3 hours until closing time. The lady made 3 of my fingers bleed and never said anything about it. I have had these no chip nails for one week, and 4 of my fingers have chipped halfway off. Not worth my $37. I will never go again, and you shouldn't either.
#1 I went in with my mom for manicures and pedicures before vacation. The girl working on my pedicure was clearly new and very uncomfortable. She was struggling to even clip my nails and made me very uneasy. She was trying to file my nails but ended up filing my skin (pretty painful) and the pedicure took over an hour. No one offered to help her even though they kept coming back and checking what was taking so long. My mom was done with both her manicure and pedicure before my toenails were even polished. The other girl finally told my mom it was her first day. In the end, someone else did my manicure and the owner (or who I think is the owner) came over and asked how she did. He clearly saw the uneven nails, uncut cuticles, and terrible paint job but offered no discount or apology.
I will never be back.
Went here a few times several years ago, and really liked it, but went back yesterday and didn't get very good service. I wish they would be up front about the wait times, and that they would pay attention to who they should service first. Two people who came in after me were served before me. I got a no chip manicure, and was told before the polish to go wash my hands. Then, the polish wasn't sticking properly, and they told me I shouldn't have used soap.
Used to go here all the time for my nails and eyebrows. I will not be going back anymore. There has been so many different employees through here I can't get anyone that will do at least a decent job on my nails. I went in here and there was 4 people there, one was sleeping snoring even when you first walk in, the other was playing poker on his iPad, another lady was sitting in the pedicure chairs and then there was the lady doing my nails. She did a horrible job filing and cut my nails all uneven. I had chips on my nails walking out and just left because I was fed up. I can't stand going to nail salons because no one cares about making the customers happy. When I walked out I didn't get a thank you or have a nice day they said nothing. It was a frustrating experience and a waste of my money and time. Do not suggest it to anyone.
#2 I just went in get a pedicure. The sign said open and there were people still having services done. The girl had me sign in and pick out polish. Then she took me back and asked the guy to start my pedicure. He was visibly annoyed and said something to her under his breath. She came over and told me sorry but they were closed and I would have to come back tomorrow.
First time being here I usually go to Hot nails and spa but wanted to try somewhere different. Went in for a fill on my acryllic no chip nails, went through the colors provided and the man rushed me and my friend while we were going thru the colors, my friend went first and i waited for the guy to be done with another customer, my nails were so outgrown and extremely long, he removed the polish and immediately went to putting the acryllic powder(not sure what its called) without asking me if i want my nails trimmed, so when i asked him to cut them he huffed and puffed and said something under his breath. He was very rough clipping the acryllic nails, then he went to putting the acryllic powder on and he did that very quick and then when he shaped them with the nail file he was just filing my skin, very painful!! after he painted my nails i put them under the light for the no chip to work, when i left the place i looked good and hard at my nails and seen so many spots WERE NOT painted. he also did not check to see if my thumb on my right and and left hand were the same, along with the other nails, and long story short, they're not. I will NEVER go back.
